The winners this week will get to pick between a stuffed toy of Sobek (above), two Egyptian pens, and three gift certificates to Sophie's Place. With only one week, left you all are encouraged to turn in your tickets for the final drawing which will be held on August 1 (yes, for the iPod!)

The next Teen Book Club meeting will be August 13, at 10:00 am. We will be disussing the book Undine by Penni Russon. (Sixteen-year-old Undine, hearing her presumably deceased father calling to her and feeling a strange force growing inside her, travels to the sea to discover the depths of her magical powers.)

The Teen Book Club book for Saturday, September 1 at 2:00 pm will be Gregor the Overlander by Suzanne Collins. (When eleven-year-old Gregor and his two-year-old sister are pulled into a strange underground world, they trigger an epic battle involving men, bats, rats, cockroaches, and spiders while on a quest foretold by ancient prophecy.) We will hold this meeting and determine if interest to continue the club into the fall.
